MarketPress gives Missing Argument error

During Checkout, the new installation of MarketPress gives an error message about a missing argument. It points to marketpress.php line #1729 which is:
else {

$vars['productCategory'] = '-1';

}
Any idea what's the matter?
*Also, MarketPress does not appear for me on the list of plugins installed to this site.

    Hi there, chuckupd!

    Happy Friday!

    1. Can you copy the exact error message here for me?
    2. Are you on a subsite with MarketPress Network Activated? The only plugins you'll see on a subsite under the Plugins tab are those which aren't Network Activated, but can be activated on a site-by-site basis, if subsite admins have been given the suitable permissions.
    3. At what point during checkout is it failing and sending the error message? (before payment, after payment, etc.)

    Thanks so much!

    2) No sub-sites. It's all very normal.
    3) It does not so much fail as just give a dis-heartening error message as soon as you click Checkout. It appears in the Title tag, of all places. And also the page is a little messed up. Not the worst problem, but not really acceptable either.
