Marketpress thumbnail images not showing on products page

On my multisite when we upload a featured image into a product, the thumbnail often doesn’t show in the /products page on the front end.

If we add the product to cart, the image still doesn’t show.

However the image has been uploaded to featured image and shows in the single product.

When I look in the media library the images that don’t show on the front end all say “Auto Draft” instead of showing the post it’s attached to.

I’ve tried:

1. Go into product and re-save

2. Remove featured image and re-assign

There doesn’t seem to be any pattern to which ones show & which don’t… well none that I can see.

You can see an example here: http://tinyurl.com/d4opbgq

Any help on this is greatly appreciated!

    hi @miss B Hayving

I can’t replicate this unfortunately, though if it’s an auto-draft, that can usually occur when you’ve edited a post before. so it might be something in the theme that’s causing the auto-draft copy to to be viewed instead/or as well as the published copy.

Can you checkby using the default 2012 theme?

    also check for duplicate products/images.

    hope this helps.

    thanks.

Hi Vaughan – thanks for the speedy response there… muchly appreciated!

I think I sorted the image problem out – I changed the wp-admin/network/site-settings.php Upload Path wp-content/blogs.dir/142/files

But now there are actually a few other annoying issues with adding / editing a product…

When adding a featured image, if I have already added title, description, sku & price etc, then I get a message asking me if I’m sure I want to leave the page. If I click no nothing happens, and if I click yes the featured image is inserted, but I lose all the other content I’ve already added.

Plus I often get sent to a blank white page when I hit Publish

I’ll actually start a new thread for this.

    cheers
