Membership 2 Pro is not sending Automated Email Responses

I have been working out the kinks in Membership2 Pro over the past couple weeks and am still hung up on one problem with the automated email responses that should be sent after a new member finishes payment. I have the email drafted to send after completion of payment but have yet to see that come through. We do receive an email from wordpress with our user credentials, an email from mail chimp (we have that Add-on running smoothly) and an email from paypal. I'm out of ideas for problem solving the automated responses. Any recommendation would be greatly appreciated.
