Membership 2 pro login widget not logging into site

I am using the Membership 2 pro plugin on a client site and I have set up the login widget that comes with it to log members in. I am getting the following error Notice: Trying to get property of non-object in /home/creativ9/public_html/clientdemos/osla/wp-content/plugins/membership/app/model/class-ms-model-member.php on line 617

Couple of things, I am currently testing it on our dev server http://clientdemos.creativetouchinc.com/osla/ I have gone through and turned off all plugins and that did not fix the problem. I also changed the theme and that did not fix the problem either. Before updating to Membership 2 Pro I was using WP Login Box for the login and it worked fine. Now however if I activate that plugin I am getting a conflict and can not change the members subscription nor can anyone upgrade or purchase a subscription.

Could you please take a look at the dev server and let me know any thoughts or suggestions to fix this? I have been trying to figure it out on my own for weeks now.

I would be more than happy to give you any access you need to the dev server
Thank You
Darin Densley

    Hi Darin,

Welcome to the WPMU Dev community and thanks for posting on the forum.

I have tested it on my test site using latest version of Membership 2 Pro plugin and found the Membership login widget is working fine without any issue.

I am getting the following error Notice: Trying to get property of non-object in /home/creativ9/public_html/clientdemos/osla/wp-content/plugins/membership/app/model/class-ms-model-member.php on line 617

This is a simple PHP notice and most of the time it doesn't affect functionality of site so it is nothing to worry about!

Do you have WP_DEBUG set to true in your wp-config.php file?

If you do then please set it to false.
This will hide the warning messages and you will be able to use your site normally.

For information on this, checkout this wpmu.org article.

Yes please just grant me temporary admin access to your site by clicking "Grant Access" button in the WPMU DEV Dashboard Settings as described on the following page and reply on this thread after granting it?

    Hi Darin,

Thank you for your patience here and sending the site details.

I tried to access your dev server http://clientdemos.creativetouchinc.com/osla/ but it's displaying the Authentication Required prompt as shown in the attached screenshot. The provided admin details didn't work for this prompt.

I have also tested it on your live site oversizeloadassistant.com by temporary adding the Membership log in widget and found it's working fine.

    Please advise.

    Regards,
    Vinod Dalvi
