[Membership 2 Pro] Member Subscription

Our Member Subscription is to be billed and paid monthly - however it seems that we are not able to set that up....under Adding/Edit Members do we add a Expiration Date or what? And why is it that the Payment Gateway shows None...even though our Payment for Authorize.Net is showing?

    Hello Duane,

    When you manually add membership to a user it doesn't use any gateway - hence it is set to None. That is correct. As admin you can't force gateway on user.
    When they will do checkout from page during payment then it will be added to their profile.

    Default flow of users joining membership (subscribing to membership) is: they do registration on their own and then they select membership from the list, then there is checkout and payment. So it is user that is doing all those steps in order to subscribe.

    If you add manually users to membership and then set expire date, then they still need to do checkout for that membership after it expire (remember that till the expiry date they will have full access to membership). Only when they do checkout on their own monthly payments will be working for them.

    Another way is to create new invoice from Membership 2 -> Billings and select user and select status "Billed"

    this will show invoice to pay on their account and after checkout they will have access to membership.
