Tested this, Membership 2 pro on and off on my website cause bugs.
Without membership on I hade two issues resolved. My core update of the divi builder appeared.
And the correct picture appared in my latest published blog. This last step you can retest.
So my conclusion is that membership 2 pro is interacting with WordPress and causing bugs.

    Hello Avatar

I hope you are well today.

There's nothing in Membership 2 Pro that *should* block plugin updates, but this is something we can test to be sure.

    Re: Image not appearing...

If you have the Media Protection Add-on enabled in Membership 2 Pro and do not have it configured correctly, then it can block viewing images. Again, this is something we can look into further as well.

Unfortunately, the site you indicated in your post does not show in your account and Support Access is not working.

In order to help you better with your issue, would you please grant me access to your site and server so I can perform some advanced debugging?

    Hello Avatar

Looking into this issue further, I found that the image that was giving you problems had a symbol in the file name. The file in question is 500€-Grant.jpg. Symbols are very unpredictable in file names. In some situations, they will work, in others, they won't. It's always advisable to remove any symbols or special characters before uploading your files to a website.

I downloaded the file and renamed it to 500-Grant.jpg then set the new file name as the featured image for the post and everything worked as it should.

I was unable to find any other issues on the site. If there are any other, please let me know and I'll be more than happy to help sort those out.

    Best regards,

    James Morris

    Hi James,
    Thanks for looking into this.
I normally carefully set my picture names, and from now on I will not use symbols anymore. Good to know.
For the membership pro do I still have not found a solution for my bbpress forum settings? Do I open a new post?
My forum should be private. But I cannot set it up very good in the membership pro addon for bbpress. The forum is now still visible. I want to choose to make it indexable but not publicly accessible, hopefully, set-up on thread level.

It seems it is protected, but I cannot setup the protections rules. Nor am I sure it will be indexable. https://www.screencast.com/t/Sr4Y3Ne5cH

    Hello Avatar

You can't set an indexable forum with public access. The forum needs to be public to index by google or other search engines.

About not being shown in the bbpress protection rule, I can see confirm the issue on your site but I can't replicate it on my site, works fine here. Would you please temporarily disable WPML and then check one more time? If it still doesn't work, please disable all other plugins and then check one more time. If it appears by then, enable all plugins one by one and find which one is creating the conflict.

Please let me know how it goes. Have a nice day!
