Membership 2 Pro Subscription Change Redirect

When users click on “Change” link here: https://mar******** , they are taken to another plugin’s account page in the front-end but they are supposed to be taken to the form where they can change membership. Can you please help me find out why this is happening?

    Hello Ellis,

I’m sorry there is this problem on your site.

I checked chat session transcription and looks like you are going to prepare for us a staging site for more tests?

If the staging site is created, can you send us your details using our contact form and the template below:

Note: Don’t leave your login details in this ticket.

    Subject: “Attn: Kasia Swiderska

    – Site login URL

    – WordPress admin username

    – WordPress admin password

    – FTP credentials (host/username/password)

    – Folder path to site in question

    – Link back to this thread for reference

    – Any other relevant urls/info

IMPORTANT: Please make sure you select “I have a different question” for your topic, so it doesn’t go back to the forums – this and the subject line ensure that it gets assigned to me.

Please confirm here that you send those credentials

    kind regards,

If someone goes to the membership page

and then clicks on a membership option…

if they are NOT already logged into the site, then when they click on the “already have an account” button it just takes them to their dashboard and they don’t know where to go from there

if they ARE already logged into the site and then click on the membership option it takes them to the correct page to check out

p.s. I’ve setup a dev domain and I’m trying to use Shipper to migrate to the new environment. The pre-flight check is at 99% waiting on large files, file names and package size. (p.s.s. Shouldn’t it be pre-sail or pre-launch check to keep with the nautical theme?)

    Hi Ellis Benus

I'm sorry for the delay here.

Thank you for the staging site, I was able to run a plugin conflict test and found that the problem is on the Redirection plugin.

I see there is a rule to redirect the /register to /my-account and it is causing the "Change Membership" problem.

Removing this rule, you should be able to access the page,

Another alternative is to change the /register URL from Membership 2 Pro.

You can select a different page on Membership 2 Pro > General > Membership 2 Pages

Let us know if you need any further help on this.

    Best Regards,

    Patrick Freitas
