Membership CSS Editing: Best Practices?

I’m modifying the CSS of the Membership plugin to better integrate its visible features with my site which is dark. As I’m editing the original stylesheets, I’m assuming this will be overwritten when the plugin is upgraded. Is there a way to avoid this?

    Hi Rogier,

Generally it’s best to include all additional styles in your theme’s stylesheet and using a child theme really would be the optimal way to do that so your edited stylesheet itself isn’t overwritten with theme updates.

There are other methods too, like using a plugin that lets you add css. It’s just best to include them all in a single location really though, a single css file where possible, as every additional css file would be an additional http request, slowing down your page load to a minute degree.
