Membership Nav_menu

Hello developers,
Just to start, i did do a search and only found a couple questions like this. I know i read that the new wp nav menu isn't compatible with any themes, I also remember reading that these things are coming. I did not read weather or not anyone solved their issues with the menus.

Running wp 3.0.1 with membership 1.0.1

First problem, I have two levels of membership. Dealer and partner, the dealer has his own dealer page and a theme to go with it; so does the partner. They still have access to the customer pages. Yet i have two menu widgets, one for each level of user. The widgets both show up when i have set each level to restrict access to the menus of the other. I have included photos 1 and 2 and 3 to show.

Second problem, I did a clone on the partners level to make the dealer level. Changed only permissions to the menus (that remember dont work), and the theme has stopped showing me the nav menu that is visible for regular visitors, admins, and partners. Now it shows a list hierarchy of my pages. Top it off, all of my css is messed up now. Attached photos 4, 5, 6. I dont understand whats going on. I have tried to troubleshoot it and look for help, this is my last resort.

Thanks for your time.

    Hiya!

    First off, welcome to WPMU DEV!

    Sorry you're having trouble. It's a bit difficult to diagnose without being able to take a look. If you don't want to post a link on the public side of this forum, perhaps consider the members only forum. It'd be a great help to see what's going on here.

    Short of that, can we get some more information. Are you using multisite? If so, what theme are using for the main site? For dealers? partners?

    In which directory do you have membership installed? Plugins or mu-plugins?

    If you disable the membership plugin do the nav menus return to normal? What about the CSS?

    What other plugins are you running on this install and are there any errors in your server logs?

    Sorry for the interrogation (it's not meant to be that) but nothing jumps out at me to point to a specific problem so we have to through many ideas to narrow it down. Again, a link would be helpful.

    Thanks!

    Hey,
    Thanks for the reply. I decided to go with another plugin for my membership options. I realized that the plugin you all offer is GREAT, unfortunately there are other options that are being added that is just making everything to complicated.

    On the plus side, i am using many of your other plugins and i cant thank you talented developers for this.

    I am still having one issue. This pertains to the theme triden. I replaced the menu with the wp_nav_menu. Now the dropdown isnt working. I looked in the dropdown.js and tried to replace the nav with menu-(name of menu). Unfortunately i dont know enough js to make it work. Any ideas. Here is the code i have for css:

    /* -----------------------------------*/
    /* >> Dropdown Navigations <<<-----*/
    /* -----------------------------------*/

    #menu-header {
    margin: 0px;
    padding: 0px;
    list-style: none;
    float: left;
    width: 900px;
    position: relative;

    }
    #menu-top-menu{
    background: transparent;
    -webkit-padding-start: 0px;
    margin:0px;
    padding: 0px;
    }

    #menu-top-menu li {
    position: relative;
    display: inline-block;
    float: left;
    color: #666;
    margin: 0px;
    padding: 0px;
    width:180px;
    text-align: center;
    }
    #menu-top-menu li:hover {
    position: relative;
    display: inline-block;
    float: left;
    color: #000;
    margin: 0px;
    padding: 0px;
    background-image: url(/wordpress/wp-content/themes/wpmu-triden/images/menu_bg_hover.png);
    background-repeat: repeat-x;
    background-position: 50%;
    }

    #menu-top-menu li li{
    background: url(none)!important;
    padding: 0px!important;

    }

    #menu-top-menu li ul {
    position: absolute;
    left: 899px; /* Set 1px less than menu width */
    top: 27px;
    display: none;
    margin: 0px;
    padding: 0px;

    border-right: 0px none;
    border-bottom: 0px none;
    border-left: 0px none;
    border-top-width: 0px;
    border-top-style: none;

    background-image: url(/wordpress/wp-content/themes/wpmu-triden/images/manu_bg.png);
    background-repeat: repeat-x;

    border-right-width: 0px;
    border-top-style: none;
    border-right-style: none;
    }

    /* Holly Hack. IE Requirement \*/
    * html ul li { float: left; height: 1%; }
    * html ul li a { height: 1%; }
    /* End */

    #menu-header li:hover ul, #menu-header li.over ul { display: block; } /* The magic */

    Any ideas?
