Membership Plugin & Step 3 (after paypal)

Sometimes I just miss the one word that answers it all... that said:

RE the Wordpress Membership plugin.

I can get it to work.... It goes to paypal and processes it just fine.

then it went back to the main page and now I am stuck.

Now, where can I find out how to enable the one (1) blog that is associated with the membership level.

Thank you for the, what will likely be, simple answer.

    Hiya Stephanie,

First off, welcome to WPMU DEV!

So you're looking for the folks who sign up to then be able to create a site?

They should be able to sign in and go to Sites>Create New Site

Let us know if this isn't what you're seeing.

    Hi Mason:

Thank you for your help with this.

Ok... but if they aren't superadmins, where will they see the SITES > CREATE SITES option?

And if you set up a rule that a particular Membership Level can create, say, five (5) blogs, how is that controlled?

I just logged in as my test person with the membership and I don't see the Superadmin part of the dashboard left column.

I am almost done and am lovin' these plugins of yours! This one thing (and a million others) and I am almost finished!

    It is such....

    1) when using the membership plugin, you should turn off the wp registration system, I get that ... (Although, it took me a while to find that stated outright.... )

    WP Registration Settings are these:

    Registration is disabled.
    User accounts may be registered.
Logged in users may register new sites.
Both sites and user accounts can be registered.

What happens if you set it to LOGGED In users may register new sites?

Maybe that would be the solution. But would that interfere with the Membership plugin?

I am sure I am missing something simple here...

BTW, I am using buddypress in a multisite install.

Thank you again for your help with this!

    Hello Stephanie,

Sorry for the long response time! I believe you should be looking for the Dashboard area of your user's administration screens. Given the Blog Creation rule, those users should see the Sites listing under the Dashboard area and from there they should be presented that option.

Please let us know if you see that option.

    Here's an update:

I got it to work all the way through WITH the "logged in users can register new sites" option chosen.

And the test person was allowed to make only the three (3) blogs I had set up as part of their membership level.

Just to be clear: it did not work when the option: Registration is disable was chosen.

This may work differently without Buddypress, don't know...

    More later,

Thank NAME, for their help.
