Membership Pro Subdomain content protection

I have a website https://oi**** that has a digital archive of the magazines on https://oi*********ve/ which is pointed to a sub-domain https://di****al.oi*****
I am using Membership Pro to enable the put the magazine content behind a login wall. The members can register for free to get access to the content.

How can I do that?

Please let me know what you're doing. The site was not showing content while not logged in on the home page and web magazine page. So I turned off Content Protection as it seems what you're doing is not working and this is a live site. If you want, use the staging site.

    Hello Emmanuel

Do you mean that your main site https://oi**** has the membership plugin installed and you want to protect the content of subdomain site https://di****al.oi***** ?

If so, then this is not possible I am afraid. This might be possible with a large amount of custom code.

But if those sites are not different single sites, rather a multisite, then this will be possible. In a multisite, you can network activate the membership plugin and use network protect mode, or even you can activate the plugin per site basis.

If I understood your question wrong, please feel free to suggest. Have a nice day!

    Hi Emmanuel,

I checked your website, and it seems to be a single WordPress installs. I'm afraid, there isn't any out of the box setting in Membership 2 Pro, to protect page outside of your WordPress install in Membership 2 Pro.

Checking the mentioned subdomain page, it seems to be a custom PHP page? If yes, maybe you could try including wp-load.php file in the custom PHP file, and then you could test whether you could protect the pages via plugins shortcodes.

You'll find the following article helpful:

I hope this helps. Have a nice day ahead.
