Membership Pro2 Login issues with Jetpack enabled

When my users are trying to login (and when I try to login as an admin) from the protected content page they are receiving the error "Request failed, please try again."

A quick search in WPMU says that others are experiencing this issue and it appears to have something to do with plugins that prevent spam logins. I was able to fix the problem by disabling the jetpack plugin. However, I've not been able to pinpoint exactly which setting in Jetpack is preventing my users from logging in.

Anyone else experiencing a similar issue?
