I have Membership configured to offer Monthly and Annual membership options using the PayPal Standard Gateway. Monthly billing processes through PayPal OK, however even though the Annual plan mode is set as Finite, it submits to PayPal as a subscription of 1 cycle. The payee receives 2 confirmation messages. One that the payment has been received and the 2nd that the payee has cancelled the recurring payment profile. This has created significant confusion with payees as they are unsure if their transaction has actually processed.
