Membership Widget Lost Password Malfunction

I am testing a site using the Membership 2 Pro plugin.

I have the Membership 2 Pro widget installed in the sidebar - however, the "lost your password" link doesn't work inside the widget.

The URL for the "lost your password" hyperlink is http://clientsite.com/client/#lostpassword

If they go to the Login page and request their password - that works because the URL is:
http://clientsite.com/wp-login.php?action=lostpassword

However, clicking on the link within the Membership 2 Pro login widget results in a reloading of the page.

If they know their password, the widget functions perfectly in the sidebar. However, I've been doing this for WAY TOO LONG to expect users to remember their passwords.

    Hello divva,

I have the Membership 2 Pro widget installed in the sidebar - however, the "lost your password" link doesn't work inside the widget.

The URL for the "lost your password" hyperlink is http://clientsite.com/client/#lostpassword

That is correct url in lost pasword link in M2 login widget. When you click it you should get Reset Password form inside widget - it will not redirect to any page, it will do that inside widget.

However, clicking on the link within the Membership 2 Pro login widget results in a reloading of the page.

This widget uses Ajax to work and if there is reloading of page, it means that something is preventing JS from working. It usually means that there is error in browser console from other scripts. Please run a quick plugin/theme conflict test as illustrated in getting support manual (flowchart). Let me know how it goes.

    Kasia,

Since I was only using one non-WPMU plugin on the site, it didn't occur to me that there could be a conflict between Membership and another WPMU plugin. It appears the conflict is with the WPMU Chat plugin.

    Thanks for your help.

    Hello divva ,

Hope you are well today and won't mind me chiming here.

I tested WordPress Chat and Membership 2 Pro on my sandbox installation, but I am unable to replicate issue. So it seems there could be another plugin on your site as culprit.

Would you please allow us to conduct plugin conflict test there ? if that's okay to you, then please grant us staff access to your site via WPMU DEV > Support > Support Access > Grant Access

    Kind Regards,
    Milan
