Memberships User Registration Broken

The registration process for users looking to subscribe to an online course I have setup using the Memberhships plugin fails and displays the warning of:

That username is already taken, sorry.
That email address is already taken, sorry.

I have used a combination of different emails and usernames that I know are available. The user account is created and the user gets logged in despite the notice but is not redirected to a checkout page or the course.

    Hope you're doing well today and thanks for your question!

    First, can you update Membership to the latest version, we're currently on 3.5.1.8. Just to make sure :slight_smile:

    So it is still creating the user even though it is giving you an error? That is odd.

    Have you tried deactivating all other plugins to ensure there isn't a plugin conflict and if there is then we will find which one it is and go from there :slight_smile:

    Also, make sure all your Membership pages are selected. You can do this via:

    Membership > Options > Membership pages.
