Menu arrows - known bug / how to solve?

plz quickly check this out. When you switch from one site to another (within the page) the down arrows screw up and look like squares for a little time. I can remember this is a bug and you have it in your help database - but I can not find it.

How can I solve this? Does it have to do that I moved js to footer?

    This is not a bug. Those icons are loaded from Font Awesome which is loaded in footer using elementor plugin. So, this font is loaded after the entire html is loaded, and it takes time.

    If you have an option to load font awesome in the header, then please use that option. As you are using hummingbird, you can use its asset optimization to load the css in the header.

    Otherwise, you can try the following code:

    You can use this code in your child theme's functions.php if the theme is not changed. Otherwise mu-plugin is the best option. To create a mu-plugin, go to wp-content/mu-plugins folder. If there is no mu-plugins folder then, create one. Now, inside the mu-plugins folder create file with name anything.php (make sure file extension is .php). Now start with a <?php tag and then put the above code.

    Ash - I moved all stuff related to font awesome out of the footer. To what I see the problem is solved. I believe it was s/t different and is consistent with the fact I did not find anything in knowledge database related to that nor in my mails.
