Missing or invalid site address when adding users via batch create

Attempting to add some 500 users via batch create to a BP Multi-Networked domain mapped site.

In reading the instructions for this plugin it states to add the following:

Site name – http://site.com or site.com

Site title – My site name

Username – defined in spreadsheet

Password – defined in …

Email – …

Role – …

When running the script it adds users to the main site and throws the following error:

2014-05-11 17:24:05 [debug] – — Starting queue item processing —

Blog name: [mappedsite.org]

User name: [auser]

2014-05-11 17:24:05 [debug] – User: auser created!

2014-05-11 17:24:05 [debug] – Missing or invalid site address.

2014-05-11 17:24:05 [debug] – — Queue item processing finished —

The first problem is the error above as I’m not clear on what to add for the site address. To test I also un-mapped the domain and got the same result.

The second problem is that the users need to be added to the domain mapped, or sub-site. Is there any way to run this at the sub-site level? If this is the intended outcome then it seems that i’d need to use the other plugin to add existing users, 15 at a time. Really hoping this isn’t the intended outcome.

Any responses appreciated.

    Hey there,

I hope you are well today and thanks for asking!

Can you try to use: ‘null’ (without quotes) for site address? Unfortunately, it does not work on the sub-site level and adds users only to the main site.

I will consult with my colleague Ashok, the second supporter about this issue if there’s any possibility to use it on a sub-site level and let you know more details soon.

    Kind Regards,

    Domas
