More than one booking at same time

Hey there,

I'm wondering if it is possible for a customer to book more than one hour service at same time.

I would love to know if there is a way to click two times in the service provider schedule to book 2 consecutive service times in the same appointment?

EX:
Service Providers are set for 60min duration time. But, the Service Provider do not want this appointment for just one hour in the same day, they want at least 2 hours, them you can book for 3, 4, 5 or more hours...

The reason for this is that one hour is not rentable, they need at least 2 hours for first book.

Any idea? Really thanks in advance.

    Hi Albert,

    Hope you're well?

Unfortunately, this is not possible out of the box, the only workaround for this is to use Marketpress plugin and enable the MP integration in the appointments payment settings.

This allows you to sell appointments as a product within marketpress, essentially it doesn't actually give you the ability to click twice, but it allows you to use marketpress's Add to Cart feature, so you can then add multiple appointments to the shopping cart & then checkout in 1 go, whilst not exactly the same as what you ask, it does make it a lot easier & quicker to book multiple appointments and having only to pay in 1 go from the cart.

Another advantage to using the marketpress integration is that it allows you to utilise the various other payment gateways that come with MP rather than just paypal with appointments+ plugin itself.

    Hope this helps

    Hey there @Vaughan,
    Hope you're well!

Sorry... I have not asked the question correctly.... I have installed MP .
But I have set the 'add to cart directly" on appoinments+ general settings.

When I set this off, I can not see the 'go to checkout' button, so customers can end the proces.

Should I set something on MarketPress?

    Thanks for your time!
    Kind regards,
    Albert.

    Hi there @Albert,

Hope you're well today and thanks for your question.

When you have that set to off, it should still let you add to the cart and then you'd visited domain.com/store/cart

Could you grant me support access please via your wp-admin > WPMU DEV > Support > Support access and click "Grant Access".

We can then take a closer look at this for you.

    Kind Regards
    Jack.

    Hey there @Jack,
Hope you're well today and thanks for your help.
    I granted acces.

Actually it is 'on' because I need customers to pay the service
But when it is 'off' I can not see the 'go to cart' button.

btw, some of the A+ settings are in Catalan language, so this string is 'Afegeix automàticament reserves a la cistella'.

    Cheers,
    Albert.

    Hi Albert,

I have tested it on my test site by integrating Appointments and marketpress plugins as described on the following threads

    https://premium.wpmudev.org/forums/topic/how-integrate-with-marketpress-with-appointments#post-314776
    https://premium.wpmudev.org/forums/topic/how-to-integrate-appointments-marketpress#post-309362

And unsetting the Appointments option "Auto-add appointments into cart" in the Appointments payment settings, i found it's displaying the "Add To Cart »" button on confirming the appointment.

Make sure you have properly created the marketpress Appointment product by using the proper Appointment shortcodes.

I wanted to test it on your site unsetting the Appointments option "Auto-add appointments into cart" but it seems the support staff access is revoked so could you please regrant us support staff access so that we can troubleshoot it?

This can also be due to plugin/theme conflict.

You can just try on your development site using default WordPress theme like Twenty Thirteen and deactivating all other plugins as displayed in the flowchart on the following page to know which theme/plugin is conflicting if any.
