Multi-Domain Plugin Issues

Hello,

So I'm trying to install the Multi-Domain plugin.

encountered several issue:
1) trying to install via the WPMU DEV Dashboard doesn't work.. no big deal!!
2) manually installed as directed, it doesn's show on the installed plugins area of my WP and doesn't show here as an option!!
3) now the 'Domain Mappings' plugin shows a [Please edit your /home3/XXXX/public_html/wp-config.php and move the line define( 'SUNRISE', 'on' ); above the last require_once() in that file or make sure you updated sunrise.php.]

here's the relevant part of the wp-config.php

define('SUNRISE', 'on');
/** Sets up WordPress vars and included files. */
require_once(ABSPATH . 'wp-settings.php');

-- off course, I create the wp-content/mu-plugins/multi-domains-files & copy the DM_sunrise.php to the /wp-content/sunrise.php

so now sure what I'm doing wrong .. can you help please??

    Hi there @washfl

    I hope you are well today!

    Where did you define that in the wp-config.php file? As normally it would go above the

    that's all stop editing happy blogging line, do you have domain mapping as well as multi-domains?

    Can you 100% check that you have uploaded the files to the correct folders, log out of WordPress, clear you cache, log out, go to network admin and see if it's in the plugin list.

    Thank you!

    Kind Regards
    Jack.

    1) I have been trying something here... the instructions call to wp-content/mu-plugins that didn't really seem to make the plugin visible to WP.... so I copied it to wp-content/plugins and the plugin is now enabled.

    BUT Still having issue with the WordPress MU Domain Mapping (Please edit your /home3/concres1/public_html/wp-config.php and move the line define( 'SUNRISE', 'on' ); above the last require_once() in that file or make sure you updated sunrise.php.)

    1.5) logged off and rebooted!! :slight_smile:

    2) I move the line around the file ----> HERE <------ indicates the areas!!
    define('WPLANG', '');

    /**

    *
    * Change this to true to enable the display of notices during development.
    * It is strongly recommended that plugin and theme developers use WP_DEBUG

    define('WP_DEBUG', false);
    define('SUNRISE', 'on');

    define('PATH_CURRENT_SITE', '/');
    define('SITE_ID_CURRENT_SITE', 1);
    define('BLOG_ID_CURRENT_SITE', 1);

    /* That's all, stop editing! Happy blogging. */

    /** Absolute path to the WordPress directory. */
    if ( !defined('ABSPATH') )
    define('ABSPATH', dirname(__FILE__) . '/');
    ----> HERE <------
    /** Sets up WordPress vars and included files. */
    require_once(ABSPATH . 'wp-settings.php');
