Multi-Site Delete Post Based on Slug?

I know that I have already suggested an improvement to the Multisite Content Copier where you can edit posts that are already copied. Let’s say you find a typo and want to correct that word you would have to manually do this on all the sites; not a charming thought.

What if you could make this simpler and just delete the original post and then copy the new one? Of course, it would have to be really deleted and not just put in trash to avoid a different slug being generated, but this might be easier to avoid the problems suggested by the plugin developer as to why they can’t make copied posts editable. Delete and copy newly would accomplish the same result.

    Hi @joseph Dowdy.

Well, that could cause other kind of issues. You could erase a user post in a subsite with that method that has the same slug that the one you’re deleting.

The only way to handle this is saving in a table the relationship between the source post and all the destination posts. Every time the source post is updated/deleted, those related posts will be too. But even with that, as I’ve been developing the feature I have been finding new issues so this feature needs to be very polished and I’ve got more projects to work on, that’s why is taking more time.
