Multi-User Plugins & Themes

Is there a way when I upload a theme or plugin to have it only be for a specific site? I only see the option of network activate. I am building some specific sites and the theme & related plugins are only specific to that site not all...

Thanks

    Hi tcuzzo,

I only see the option of network activate

Well, some plugins don't support working on single sites, but there are very few plugins like this. Most plugins works individually on single sites.

When you install any plugin from Network Dashboard, it will show only option to "Network Activate" in Network Dashboard > Plugins section. But if you want to activate that for a single subsite, please go to that subsite Dashboard > Plugins section. From there, you can activate that plugin for that subsite only. You will get more idea from this page: https://premium.wpmudev.org/manuals/wpmu-manual-2/activating-and-deactivating-plugins-on-a-per-site-basis/

I believe, this will resolve your issue. If this doesn't, would you mind allowing Support Access so we can have a closer look at this? Please also mention which plugin we should check.

To enable support access you can follow this guide here:
    http://premium.wpmudev.org/manuals/wpmu-dev-dashboard-enabling-staff-login/

Please confirm here when you are done granting Support Access. I'm looking forward to hearing from you and resolving this issue as soon as possible.

    Have a nice day. Cheers!
