MULTISITE - MULTI DOMAIN: Activation link 404 not found

Hello,

I have a multisite and activated the multi domain plugin. In signing up choosing my main site (tmgsblog.com) activation works fine but when I try to join choosing the second domain (tmgs.biz) added in the settings - multi domain the activation link is 404 not found:
-------
Not Found

The requested URL /wp-activate.php was not found on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
---------

I followed carefully the instruction when I installed the multi domain plugin.

Where did I get wrong?

Also wordpress should be also installed here tmgs.biz in order to make it work or not? this second domain is totally blank as you can see.

The second domain should be in the same server/cpanel? should I add it here as a addon domain or park it here?

Your help is much appreciated!

Best Wishes,
Socrates

    Hey Socrates,

Hope you're doing well today

There is no need to install WP for your other domains, you need only one WP installation that other domains will point to.

When I open tmgs.biz it looks like it's not redirecting to desired IP address, you should be able to resolve your problem by checking Potential Issues section in plugin Usage Page here:
    https://premium.wpmudev.org/project/multi-domains/#product-usage

Let us know if you still need help after that.

    Best regards,

    Hello,

I checked again and I installed it according to that instruction.

The IP address is the same I am using in my main site or where the wordpress installed.

How can redirect tmgs.biz to the desired IP? I added wildcard (*.tmgs.biz) in the tmgs.biz server using the same IP I used in the main site.

    best wishes,
    Socrates

    Hi Socrates,

What you need to do is modify DNS for tmgs.biz to point to nameserver of your tmgsblog.com server, note that it can take up to 72 hours for DNS changes to take effect.

If you are unsure how to do this you can contact your hosting support and they should be able to do this for you without a hustle

    Best regards,
    Predrag
