My sign-up form got lost in multisite installation

I just made a WP multisite installation through pSek hosting. Everything seems fine and I created some subdomain blogs. However both in my main blog ( and my sub-domain blogs, there is no form in the sign-up page ( It just writes Sign Up.

I enabled "Both sites and user accounts can be registered". I have no idea what is going wrong.

I will appreciate any help.

    Greetings akasya,

    Welcome to WPMU Dev!

I just visited your site and confirm that the signup button is redirecting in correctly.

    It should be redirecting to:

Which version of WordPress are you working with?

In addition, there is a problem with your main site being named and in the WordPress Multi Site instructions it clearly states not to use this because it causes a conflict with sub domains i.e.

Furthermore WPMU Dev offers an excellent walk through on setting up MultiSite installs too.

I know that this is not directly related to your current issue with the signup form, but I did not want you to continue to build on an inherently faulty platform and it would be better to re-install at this very point.

When setting up the initial WordPress MultiSite, it is in your best interest to use the domain name without www or it will be the direct cause of unforeseen future problems.

Thank you for being a WPMU Dev member!

    Cheers, Joe

    Hello Joe,

Thanks a lot for your prompt and detailed reply. Amazing support really.

I just become a member WPMU DEV and I will go through the manual now.

I just got the installation from pSek and it is 3.3.1, the latest version.

Just about the, how can I change it back to This is a serious mistake. I want to do it as fast as I can to see if other things are fine.

Also why does Sign-up link on my blogs direct to rather than the correct I have not made any changes here. I am afraid this might be another fundamental mistake.

I will really appreciate if you help me about these two problems. I will go over the whole stuff according to instructions and solve the rest I suppose.

    Greetings akasya,

Sorry for the delay in a reply - your ticket somehow got buried in the support system.

If this is a MultiSite install it is certainly best to re-install due to the many places where the is stored. If this were changed before the activation of MultiSite then a reinstall would not be necessary.

It is possible to hunt down all the instances of the www domain and remove the "www"

It is my experience/advice that installing the plugins one at a time is great for learning all the intricacies of the installation to include the detailed configurations gives a better platform for actually getting them working correctly and the ability to fix things.

    Cheers, Joe
