Need an image parallax (in Upfront) on page.

I need an image on a page in upfront to move upwards like parallax scrolling when users scrolldown the page.

I thought this could be achieved in Upfront with a normal image, but apparently it only works with region background images, unfortunately this image isn't an actual region background.

You will need to add the following to your hosts file to view the site:

++.104.+++.74 http://www.+++++life.com

This is the image that needs to move when scrolling.

    Hello Shaan

    I hope you're well today!

    In Upfront there's indeed a parallax effect only for the image-type region backgrounds, so either a custom code or some 3rd-party solution would have to be used.

    I have tested this plugin and it seems to do the trick. I used Like+Sara theme for testing and it worked like a charm for m:

    Some important notes:

    - with this plugin you create your "parallax content" in back-end; that's just a custom post type
    - when you do this, there's an option to use "parallax.js" instead of pure CSS solution - it worked for me only with CSS setting so you might want to make sure that "parallax.js" option is disabled
    - once content is created, you got a shortcode
    - so in a place where you want such parallax image on your site, put a regular "Text" element of upfront and write (better write instead of copy-pasting) the given shortcode in it, without any formatting.

    Once you save it, the parallax element should show on the site.

    Let me know if it worked for you,

    Best regards,
    Adam
