Need help to re-store site from backup files

We was hired a freelancer to install our site a new one, in order to maximize its performances, However, he was not able to do this and give back us the backup files as below:

For your information, we are not sure now that previous IT (freelancer) backup enough databases and other files of nhadep.net or not, but we are only received back 2 files as below:

– nhadep.net-Dec-2017.gz

– nhadepnetcngthngtingthitkvkintrc-cngtytnhhphngbc.wordpress.2017-12-30.xml

You can see them, which are in folder ‘public_html’ in fpt.

Could you please to take a look and help to re-store our site nhanet.net?

Thank you,

Kha Tran

    Hi Khanh,

Hope you are doing well.

We have discussed about this in the Live Chat and you have mentioned that the xml file importing on a new site is not bringing the posts it only imports the media files. After we connected your old database it started working so I guess we can mark this one as resolved now?

Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you need any further help

    Thanks,

    Sohag

    Hello Sohag,

Some works are still under process, but we are got problem to upload ?(to import) database file to the site, since ‘Import WordPress’ tool limited size for upload is 64MB!

We already adjusted php.ini file to 256MB, but it’s still not work now!

    Regards,

    Khanh

    Hi Khanh,

Could you please elaborate a bit what is the exact issue here because I’m a bit confused.

Are you having issues with uploading your file due to the memory limit not applying your changes, or the file is uploaded but nothing happens after upload?

Also, what exactly are you uploading, you mentioned database file but you’re using “WordPress Importer” and with that you should be uploading your XML export file?

    Best regards,

    Predrag
