Need Help With Custom CSS For Widget

On my site at https://plantbest.com/ca/product-category/retailer-gardening-products/ I have a widget for Product Categories. Within that widget are two main categories, HORTICULTURAL PRODUCTS and RETAILER GARDENING PRODUCTS.

Can you tell me please how I make them both "bold" without making all the others bold.

Thank you.

    Hello Mary-

    I was able to achieve your desired result with custom css. You can find your custom CSS in your wordpress dash board, by going to Appearance > Custom CSS.

    I can certainly understand where your frustration might of came from, the markup for the plugin is not the easiest to target specific elements. Here is the code I applied:

    .cat-item-9.cat-parent > a{

        font-weight:bold;

    }

    .cat-item-8.cat-parent > a{

        font-weight:bold;

    }

    Thankfully each ul (Unordered List), had its own assigned class. So by getting the specific assigned class and using the ( > ) the descendant selector. You are able to target elements which are DIRECT children of a particular element.

    Let me know how this works for you!
