Need some clarification about documentation

Hi, i need some clarification on documentation, on page 17 it says

In the Eclipse editor, open the wp-android folder in the
left sidebar. Then open the tests folder.
Double-click on AndroidManifest.xml to open that file.

I have to double click on AndroidManifest.xml inside tests folder or AndroidManifest.xml inside wp-android ?

    Another thing is on page 19, this part

    Highlight the wp-android folder in the left sidebar. Then
    in the Search menu, click File.
    In the window that pops up, enter the following exactly:
    import org.edublogs.android.R;
    Click Replace. It may say it's failed, ignore that. Carry on
    and then it'll say 55 matches found. Enter in your
    change. For example:
    import org.mycoolapp.android.R;

    When i search import org.edublogs.android.R; and clic replace, i have an error message and a message saying nothing found. I clic OK and nothing happens.

    Hi there @puccino,

    Of course, sorry missed it first time round as I was replying while you posted the follow up :slight_smile:

    When you go file > search, search for text containing

    import org.edublogs.android.R;

    In the box below should be a * only.

    Click Replace, it will search and most likely throw an error, ignore that and click ok. It should say 55 matches found.

    Would it be possible for you to perhaps post a screencast of that? Do you have any errors within the app? As at this stage there should be multiple errors till we run the find and replace.

    Thanks!

    Kind Regards
    Jack.

    Hi @Jack Kitterhing , what errors do you mean ?
    I have this after i clicl replace

    <script type="text/javascript">
    (function() {
    var po = document.createElement("script":wink:; po.type = "text/javascript"; po.async = true;
    po.src = "https://apis.google.com/js/plusone.js?publisherid=116142671099225543489";
    var s = document.getElementsByTagName("script":wink:[0]; s.parentNode.insertBefore(po, s);
    })();
    </script>

    and screen on problem tab

    Hi there @puccino

    Thanks for the additional information, those are the errors I wanted on the tab thanks :slight_smile:

    Looking at those, it's strange the find and replace isn't working, but no worries, on the XML mismatched tag, double check that.

    Then scroll right up to the top of the file it links you too, on the left hand side, click the + symbol.

    You should see, import org.edublogs.android.R;

    Replace that with the name of your app, i.e,

    import org.myapp.android.R;

    Then go file > save as > ok.

    Let me know how that goes, I'm here to help :slight_smile:

    Thanks!

    Kind Regards
    Jack.
