Need some CSS help with header and footer

I have a CSS problem,

Both sites should have the same header and footer and colours of buttons etc but the /gloucester ones don’t and, I can’t figure out why, can you help me on this?

    Hello there allanlove,

    hope you're doing well today! :slight_smile:

    I can see that these sites are still having some differences that you need to sort out. You should first make sure you have the content you need, then we can sort out any differences in styling, even though if you use the same settings across the plugins, the same child themes and the same custom CSS rules, you shouldn't experience any differences. Please keep in mind that the following points are outside the scope of our support as mentioned here:

    so it's something that should be done by you or your developer.

    1) Main site navigation is using the Uber Menu plugin, while the secondary site doesn't. You should make sure you're having the exact same settings and make this navigation menu an Uber Menu. You can find the settings menu under Appearance -> Uber menu

    2) Footer widgets aren't the same between these sites. You should use the exact same ones.

    Source site:

    Target site:

    3) Header elements are seem to be different too and I can't see any Header widgets, which left me thinking that these are coming from some theme options. When I try to go to Appearance->Customize though, in both sites, I'm getting an HTTP 500 ERROR and can't carry on. In order to find out more about this error, could you please access your server via (S)FTP, edit wp-config.php file, find a line like

    define('WP_DEBUG', false);and replace it with the following (if the above line doesn’t exist, simply insert next snippet just above the /* That's all, stop editing! Happy blogging. */ comment)

    // Enable WP_DEBUG mode
    define('WP_DEBUG', true);
    // Enable Debug logging to the /wp-content/debug.log file
    define('WP_DEBUG_LOG', true);
    @ini_set( 'log_errors', 1 );
    // Disable display of errors and warnings
    define('WP_DEBUG_DISPLAY', false);
    @ini_set('display_errors', 0);

    Then go ahead and try to replicate the error by going to Appearance->Customize in any of these two sites. By doing so, a /wp-content/debug.log file should be created. Simply download it, rename it to debug.txt and attach it here in your next reply. If the size of the text file exceeds the 5MB limit of our blog, please use a service like Dropbox and post the shareable link instead.

    Warm regards,

    Thank you for your reply,

    I have now made all the settings in the uber menu the same as the main site and I have added the text widget back in the middle section of the footer like the main site.

    I did a plugin conflict to see if the 500 error resolved and found that wp preload was the conflict. I have deactivated that plugin and now we can access the customise section for both sites.

    Hopefully now you are able to look for the header elements and fix the look of the site for me?

    I have just been having a play around on /gloucester and believe I have now fixed all the issues.

    It seems all the settings had reverted back to the original theme settings so it was just a case of assigning the menus to the right places and matching the settings back up.

    Thank you for your help making me see how to fix this issues.
