Need to add public rss feeds from protected content with the membership plugin

I need to have a public feed showing the title and the first 100 words of the post. Thanks anyone for help in advance!

To do this you will need to add the <!--more--> tag to each post, after 100 words.

This will mean that the first 100 words will also be available on your site to strangers too as there is no way to treat feeds separately from web site visitors.

As we haven't heard back from you we're going to assume the problem was sorted out and mark this ticket as resolved.

If it wasn't resolved, or you have any more questions related to this thread please feel free to post them below and tick the 'Mark as Not Resolved (re-open)' box below the post area (or else we'll miss it!)

    Hiya rodder7,

The RSS feed is going to follow the same restrictions that you have on your site. You'll need to use Phil's recommendation above to allow the first 100 words to be displayed and then use a more tag or shortcode to hide the rest of the content.

There's no difference between an RSS feed and a visitor when it comes to what is public/visible.
