[New Blog Templates] Empty categories appear in Categories Toolbar

Category headings appear in the Categories Toolbar when there are no templates in that particular category. This includes the Default Category or any other category you create and don't assign to any templates.

This other ticket implies that this should not happen:

    Hello drew_mathers

Yes, currently all category appears even there is no template assigned to it. We have sent your issue to our second level support team. Please note that, they deal with more complex issues, so there might be little delay. We appreciate your patience on this.

    Have a nice day!

    Cheers,
    Ash

    Hi drew_mathers !

I've update the code in the file responsible for that list so we can achieve what you requested.

To implement this you will have to:

1] Always keep a backup when altering code.
2] Download the attached zip from this post and extract it to get a .php file.
3] On your WP installation navigate to the /wp-content/plugins/blogtemplates/blogtemplatesfiles folder.
4] You will find a file named "blog_templates_theme_selection_toolbar.php", rename this to backup-blog_templates_theme_selection_toolbar.php.
5] Upload the .php file from this post into the folder mentioned above.

You should only see any the buttons "ALL" and any Categories that have templates assigned to them now.

Again, make sure to have a backup before proceeding with changes as every setup is different.

As this is a change in the core files made for you in this case, make sure to remember to replace the file again if you update in the future. If we get more requests like this we might implement it fully into the plugin.

If you're not comfortable making the changes yourself you can grant access to me so I can make
them instead. To do this for you, you can send me the information needed privately through our contact form at https://premium.wpmudev.org/contact/#i-have-a-different-question by following this example:
