New Course Press 2.0 issues

I have a bunch of issues with the new updates.

When completing questions I get blank screen -0

When I want to retake a question the list of answers do not appear –

When user logs in, the page is empty and dosn’t load as expected AND the user is not actually logged in at any point – looks like the slug changed? If a user logs in via wp-login.php it works as expected.

I wil post here with other things I find.

    I tried to regenerate this on my test site but I could not. When I complete questions, I'm taken to the Course Completion page on my test site. Please check the attached screenshot for reference.

    I could not regenerate this on my test site either. I've created a video screencast showing this:

    So I think both of these are your site specific issues.

    Can you please tell us if you created your course in CP 2.x or you upgraded from 1.x ? Can you please create another test course and check if you can regenerate the same issue for that course too?

    Please let us know in details. I'll investigate further as soon as you confirm. I'm looking forward to hearing from you and resolving this issue as soon as possible.

    I am not sure what the new step 7 is or how to get the grade and/or certificate. Please explain

    When your course has any gradable question (you can make your questions gradable when you are adding questions in Units/Sections. Put a tick mark on "Assessable" option when creating new course), then your instructor can asses those answers by going to "Dashboard > CoursePress Pro > Assesments" section. After assessing all pending answers, students will get grades.

    Now, when a student completes all questions and all assess-able questions are assesed, your student will get a certificate in his email automatically. In section 7, you can set content regarding what will be shown on different status of course completion like Passed, Failed etc.

    I was able to fix the “When completing questions I get blank screen ” and noted that when I now have questions about step 7. The short answer is there, I dont want the student to land on that “almost there” page. Either they fail or they pass. How is that possible? I could do that before. I had upgraded from the old ver 1.3 to 2.0 and after saving the last step this has now appeared.

    I created a new test and the same issue occurs when trying to retake a question.

    The issue is a conflict with Intense Shortcodes plugin. Any ideas on how to trouble shoot.

    Do you get any browser console error, you might find this link helpful in checking that out:

    You can check your debug logs for any conflicts related to this plugin, so that we could have a better idea about this. To enable it, open your wp-config.php file located in your root directory, and look for define(‘WP_DEBUG’, false);. Change it to:

    define('WP_DEBUG', true);

    In order to enable the error logging to a file on the server you need to add:

    define( 'WP_DEBUG_LOG', true );
    define( 'WP_DEBUG_DISPLAY', false );

    After making the above changes, please try replicate the issue. The related errors will be saved to a debug.log log file inside the /wp-content/ directory.

    These steps would help in figuring out, on how to troubleshoot this issue further. Please let us know how that goes, have a nice day. :slight_smile:
