For me, myself, and I - all of us could use a different translation plug-in that:
1) Allows you to specify an image for each language translated to be shown in the widget area (I did this manually which you can see here:
2) Translates the pages and makes a hard copy of the translated page inside wordpress
Why do I want a hard copy? My business is a service business and we support clients in two languages (really four but two are never used in Texas). So I would like the pages translated automatically, but then my Spanish speaking employee can edit it for errors and I can make widgets that only appear in the "ES" directory. Also, that would fix the problem the translation plug-in has with shortcodes.
