No redirect to domain in Multisite network

I have followed this tutorial:
https://premium.wpmudev.org/blog/how-to-map-domains-with-the-wpmu-dev-domain-mapping-plugin/

I have a dedicated IP.
I have set up a Multisite network (subdomains) with three websites:

en.weydelandkaas.nl - mapped to - weydelandcheese.com
cn.weydelandkaas.nl - mapped to - weydelandcheese.cn
weydelandkaas.nl - main domain.

When I enter cn.weydelandkaas.nl it redirects fine.
But when I enter en.weydelandkaas.nl it doesn't redirect. I get an error of server problems: http://en.weydelandkaas.nl/cgi-sys/defaultwebpage.cgi

Weird, I have checked all the settings.
Can you help me?

    Hi @Jonathan Fokker,

I just tried both subdomains, and neither are working for me. I did a ping test, and there isn't a DNS record for en or cn on that domain.

You need to create two A records, one for each subdomain, and point them to your IP address.

    He Alexander,

    I just did that.
    I added two A records en.weydelandkaas.nl and cn.weydelandkaas.nl.
But still I have the same problem.

I can get through the cn.weydelandkaas.nl but NOT the en.weydelandkaas.nl
I can however change and add in the backend of Wordpress everything.

In my Cpanel I have the weydeland.com and other domains as parked domains. Is that OK? Or do I need addon domains?

    Greetings,
    Jonathan

    Hi @Jonathan Fokker,

It could be that because they are parked, the server is overriding what page to use for them.

Try an add-on domain, and make sure that the "document root" is the same as the folder for your WordPress installation. You basically want it to hit index.php for Wordpress. Then WordPress will load, and it will detect the domain. From there it will load the appropriate site for you.

    Best regards,
