old theme having problems loading slider

I have a site: http://maaps.org - they have an old themeforest theme - Konstructor http://themeforest.net/item/konstruktor-responsive-corporate-wordpress-theme/2785233

they are upset that on their computers the slider is really slow to load - how hard would it be to make it so the slides are just there upon load - no "action"?

    Hey there, Reiko!

    I see Konstructor is only compatible up to WP 3.7, does that mean your client is using an older version of WordPress along with the old theme? (We're on WP 4.2.1 now.) Just a heads up, that's not going to be nearly as secure as using the (current) most recent version of WP.

    Do you know if it's a slider plugin that came with Konstructor? If so, there may be an updated version of it available they could download. An outdated slider is also pretty insecure, and it could be the cause of the slow load.

    Now, on the other hand, if you just want static images not in a slider, that would be super easy to do. Just use the media library tool like you would to add an image to a blog post to create a spread of images on the home page.

    Try to convince your clients to update WordPress core, even if it means finding a new theme. It's the best way to keep their site, which is obviously very important to them, safe and secure.
