On the screen found at Dashboard >> Pro Sites >> Manage

On the screen found at Dashboard >> Pro Sites >> Manage sites, there are three text boxes labelled (1) Blog ID, (2) Activation Key, and (3) Or, Search for a site.

What is that page used for, and where does the information that is entered come from?

Thanks,
Kirk

    Hey Kirk,

    Hope you're doing well today!

Those are to help you find a site or activate one if it wasn't activated.

You can enter in the specific blog ID if you know it, or you can search for one via: IP address and/or path/domain. The IP address refers to the IP address of the person who signed up - so their IP not the servers.

If you go to: Network admin > Sites. You will see a "manage" option or "{pro level name}" link that you can click to find more info on the blogs. Most of the info that you search for will be in there.

You will notice if you go to "edit" a site that the edit link will look something like this: yourdomain.com/wp-admin/network/site-info.php?id=1

The id=## is the blog ID  it also shows this on the "manage site" page at the top.

If you have any further questions just let us know.

    All the best,
    Tyler

    Hey Kirk,

    No problem

As for the Activation key, when someone creates a site they will receive an email with a link in it to activate it. The link they click will have the activation key in it. It's unique to each site. So if for some reason it isn't activating for them, then you can get that activation key and manually activate the site for them.

Hope that helps! Enjoy your weekend.

    Cheers,
    Tyler
