P3 Plugin assistance

When I was starting with WPMU DEV I found a recommendation to upload a plugin to test my plugin performances, which I did (it is the P3 Plugin). When I ran the software on my http://www.energy-balance.com.au website I noticed that a plugin that had I deleted a LONG time ago was still slowing down my website speed. I asked GoDaddy if they could help me to work out why this was occurring, but as it was a WP backend issue they would not help me.

I originally joined WPMUDEV so Hummingbird could increase the site speed (it was taking 8-10 seconds to load each page), but I am not seeing much of an increase in the load speed times. I figure that there still must be elements of the old plugin stored somewhere in the coding of my website and I do not have a clue how to get rid of it.

When I try to run the P3 plugin again I just get this message: Fatal error: Call to a member function display() on a non-object in /home/content/p3pnexwpnas13_data03/53/3042653/html/wp-content/plugins/p3-profiler/templates/list-scans.php on line 8

Is this something that you guys would look at for me?

    Hello Tiecia,

    Actually we don't recommend P3 profiler anymore as its test results were very often misleading. One of our member wrote very nice post here about issues with that plugin https://premium.wpmudev.org/forums/topic/why-is-p3-profiler-not-as-good-as-developers-think-it-is

    What you should check is google page speed test https://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fenergy-balance.com.au%2F&tab=desktop

    Main issue is there long time server response: 5 sec. That is really long.
    This might be caused by plugin - so please run a quick plugin/theme conflict test as illustrated in getting support manual (flowchart).

    If that will not help - so when there will be no better results it means that you have to contact again your hosting provider and ask them about that long response.

    Another problem is with images you are loading on your site - they are big and then squeezed to smaller dimensions. But those are images you are loading from Instagram and Facebook. You might want to reconsider using those widgets in footer as they making your site slower.

    Last issue is with scripts and CSS - this one might be tricky because to fix that issue you will need to try to move some JS and CSS files to footer of your site in Hummingbird minification settings - this might be not possible as not every plugin and theme plays nicely when its files are moved to footer. You would need to test that and see if moving will break your site - if yes, then it means file cannot be moved.
