heres what I have so far

I'm coming a little unstuck as to how to handle both the stories and the leave a tribute options within the created memorial I know I could handle the stories section by using comments but I'm stuck as to how I would manage to allow users to add a tribute as well any ideas

    Hey Jade.

I was taking a look around your site and I think I have an idea, our Q&A plugin.

Lets not think of it as a Q&A plugin, they are after all just words ain't they. And the best thing about plugins and WordPress is that they can be translated real easily.

So questions could become your stories/memorial, and the answers, well they are the tribute section.

As these are both post types you could do some custom stuff with the layout if you so desired. And our plugin gives you more granular control over the permissions for users.

It would probably take you an hour or so (maybe less depending on how quick you move) to rename and remove the items you don't really need.

    Would that work for you?

I did also see another plugin out there, I've never used this at all so I can't comment on the quality. You would need to research:

Hope this will be of some help, maybe give you some ideas and direction.

    Take care.

I'm not sure because it means that i have to back track on every thing Ive done so far the all that i need to be able to do is to add two fields to the existing design that would work like comment fields then its done plus I need the users to be able to select from different styles for there memorials

Ive created the who;e sign up section for the memorials that will handle the sign up and every thing there must be a option that would allow me to add two fields that would work like either comments or one comments section and another to leave a short memorial text with a candle image next to it

    Hey again.

Well how are they submitting the text?

The page I see just likes like it was all entered on one page, so where do they submit, where does it go and how will that content be pulled to this page?

You could code up two fields, but then you need a way to push and pull the data, and ensure it only comes for a specific item. If it's all just text on a page that could be complicated.

To use comments as you mentioned before, then each item would need to be it's own post in order to display them.

    Take care.

so in theory would it be possible to have two post types one that deals with the tab about section and one that deals with the stories section thus enabling both sections to have comments but would it be possible to have both showing up on the same page?

would love to hear your thoughts
