Pages generate 404 errors when tables or colour elements are added

Where do I begin to resolve such a problem?

Thanks

    hi @11 Plus for Parents

    hope you are well.

    could I ask what theme you are using and If this happened after you had installed any plugins.

    It would help to understand how this happened, if you could explain the steps taken when you got this error.

    is it a clean install? or a site that’s been made & working previously?

    can you get to the wp-admin dashboard at all?

    thanks

    @vaughan

    I am using Genesis framework with the News child theme.

    I can’t say what happened exactly. I am suspicious of Ultimate TinyMCE and I have deactivated it, but I can’t say for sure.

    I had made several post and had no problem. I returned days later to find the behavior mentioned. Even when I just copied code that works into the text page I got the error, but the original page still works!!!

    No it is not a clean install. Yes it worked previously.

    Yes I can get to the WP dashboard. I get the error when I try to update the page. Removing the tables or text with colour solves the problem.

    Thanks
