Pages not displaying properly for Stranger setting

This is for the Membership plugin.

I'm trying to set up Membership. I'm using a theme that was built by someone else. We have a 3.x install of Wordpress running, but the theme was created without using the new WP3 menus.

I would like strangers to be able to *see* all of the menu, even if they don't have access to the various pages. Do I need to use shortcodes, or should I set up the new menus (and will this give me more features?).

    You should be able to control this with Membership but it does sound like you'll need your theme to support Menus.

    You could add this support yourself. It should be fairly straight forward. This code would need adding to your theme's functions.php:

    function register_my_menus() {
        array('main-menu' => __( 'Main Menu' ) )
    add_action( 'init', 'register_my_menus' );

    Then, replace the current menu code (probably in header.php) with this;
    <?php wp_nav_menu( array( 'theme_location' => 'main-menu' ) ); ?>

    You may need to style the menu to fit in properly but that should be okay otherwise.
