Paid Member keeps getting notifications that he needs to pay a fee to continue

I have a paid member, email "jaredreitz@aol.com". He says he keeps getting a red/yellow notice that he needs to pay a fee to continue. He already paid $5 on November 29.

Why is this happening? How do we rectify please?

    Hello Mary,

    Please ask your member for more details. What pages he sees that notice and if possible screen of it.
    With Membership 2 pro if there was something wrong with his account, then he would be seeing only protected content messages - that there is no access. And not notices that he needs to pay. His subscription is valid.
    I've checked your protection messages and non of them says anything about the fee.

    Yes, he sent me a screenshot and I told him that it was just the home page but he says he can't login so I'm not sure if that's reality or if he just stopped, thinking that he had to pay again. Was waiting to hear from him before I updated you.
