Password reset emails not being sent

Hi there,

When users attempt to reset their password, they receive an error:

"The e-mail could not be sent.
Possible reason: your host may have disabled the mail() function."

We have Easy WP SMTP installed to help emails to send, and test emails are being delivered. But I can't work out why password resets aren't going through.

I've activated support access.

Cheers
Adrian

    Hello AdrianB !
I hope you are doing great today

I noticed that disabling Easy WP SMTP allows the password reset emails to be sent, So I would like to check further what might be causing this conflict, if you can send me some info it would be great

You can send credentials by using our secure contact form
    Subject: "Attn: Majid Hamdani"

    - Mark to my attention, the subject line should contain only: ATTN: Majid Hamdani
    - Do not include anything else in the subject line, doing so may delay our response due to how email filtering works.
    - Link back to this thread
    - login URL and admin account login credentials (may be a temporary admin account) data
    - Include FTP log-in details (hostname, username & password)
    - Include hosting control panel access details (login address, username & password)
-- cPanel's usually the control panel used for this, but your provider may use something else; I'll need this for accessing your site's database, preferably via phpMyAdmin
    - Include any relevant URLs for your site
Please use our contact form here http://premium.wpmudev.org/contact/.

Select "I have a different question" from the drop-down list.

    Thanks,
    Majid
