paypal setup to activate paying members

Somehow my paypal stopped communicating with membership, so none of my new customers gets their accounts activated.

I dont know if IPN is necessary or has an ything to do with this, but it is not activated on paypal.

How do i go about to solve this problem? it used to work, but suddenly it stopped for unknown reasons.

    Hey Sebastian,

    Hope you're doing well today!

    You will want to enable IPN. That is how PayPal communicates with Membership in order to let it know that a payment was successful or not. There will be a IPN url in your Membership settings via:

    Membership > Payment Gateways > PayPal Settings.

    Go to PayPal and navigate to: Overview > History > IPN History. Turn on IPN and paste in that url

    Then you should be good to go!
