Permalinks strange behaviour

Hello guys, hope you can help with some suggestions.
I'm running a plugin named: all in 1 event calendar, which is working great on another server (with Apache), but here on this server (NGINX) is having a problem (I think) with permalinks.

If you go in the calendar page: http://blogs.eui.eu/francescomartino/calendar/
and try to change view (from month to week for example), it will get stuck in loading.

If I disable permalinks, the change view it's working.

When I set a default value in permalinks settings, a string /index.php/ is added to the permalinks structure... maybe there is a connection....

Do you have any idea?

    Greetings Euiweb,

    Thank you for the great question and a good start to troubleshooting this is what provisions have you made for the htaccess file that Apache and WordPress use but NGINX does not use?

    Have you replaced it as necessary?

    Please advise.

    Cheers, Joe

    Hi thanks for helping!

    I'm not a server administrator, but hereunder I copy paste what I have in my vhosts file, that should do the job:

    # blogs

    server {

    server_name blogs.eui.eu;
    client_max_body_size 20m;

    location / {
    root /www/blogs;
    try_files $uri $uri/ /index.php;
    }

    location /francescomartino {
    root /www/blogs;
    try_files $uri $uri/ /francescomartino/index.php;
    }

    index index.php index.html;

    location ~ \.php$ {
    root /www/blogs;
    fastcgi_pass 127.0.0.1:9000;
    fastcgi_index index.php;
    fastcgi_param SCRIPT_FILENAME /www/blogs$fastcgi_script_name;
    include fastcgi_params;
    }

    }

    Do you think it's enough or should I change something? Basically permalinks are working... but seems to have this conflict with that plugin...

    Greetings Euiweb,

    Thank you for the additional input and I do confess that I have no clue as to anything to do with NGINX though I am indeed a server administrator.

    I am thankful for the code you submitted above and if it works for you then it will perhaps work for other members facing the same type of issue.

    Please advise.

    Cheers, Joe
