Plugin Configuration

My domain mapping plugin suffiexes the source-redirect address with /blog.

http://fatigueo2.com becomes http://fatigueo2.com/blog during configuration.

The intended behavior is to redirect http://fatigueo2.com to http://whnlive.com/blog/fatigue

How should I configure to get this to work?
What Cname entry should I use?

The domain mapping plug-in explicitly declares that subdirectory installs are supported - so it seems like it should work...

    Hey there!

Just want to make sure I'm understanding correctly, you are wanting to redirect the top level domain of fatigueo2.com to the subdomain blog for whnlive.com?

The plugin is intended to go the other direction, subdomain to top level domain, so I'm just clarifying

    Hi Kimberly:
Thanks for answering - the plugin goes the other direction. No... http://whnlive.com is the top level domain.
http://fatigueo2.com is a blog that resides in the whnlive.com as a multisite instance.

The current documentation for domain mapping led me to believe that it may work with the main wordpress instance installed in a subdirectory now - unlike in the past.

Do I still need to move my wordpress install to the root directory to get domain mapping to work properly?
    Thanks,
    mark Squibb

Ah, now I understand the reference, you mean the actual wordpress site is on a sub directory.

If you're using an A record then it must be a dedicated IP.

If using addon/parked domains then you set the DocumentRoot whilst adding them

I've never tried using Domain mapping in a subdomain though
