Plugin or menu for Linking sites

Hi, I have a small multisite. It is for a primary school 4-11 year olds and it has one blog and then links to 8 sub-blogs.

Is there an easy way for all of the sub-blogs to have the links for all of the blogs? So for example if I click on Class 1’s blog, it will have a widget with links for Class 2, class 3 and so on. I used to use Diamond Multisite widget, you just ticked the blogs you wanted on each page but this hasn’t been updated in 3 years and doesn’t seem to work

Any suggestions? Or shall I just make a menu on each page and do it that way?

    Hello ian_addison,

We don’t have plugin that would help you with that unfortunately here in WPMU DEV. We have https://premium.wpmudev.org/project/blogs-directory/ – but it only displays all the blogs on one page on main site, so it will not help with showing blogs on all subsites.

I did some research and I didn’t found exact plugin that would do list of blogs, but I found this one https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/multisite-widgets-context/ that might help a little with that.

That plugins description might be confusing, but in your case it can help so you don’t need to create separate list in widget or menu on each site.

You can create one menu for blogs on main site, then with this plugin activated use the same menu in widgets on each site.

You place widget Custom Menu in subsite and click “Widget Context” and then select main site – after that you can select menu with subsites links.

Let me know if that would help.

    kind regards,

    Kasia
