Plugin to view dropbox documents

Hi,

We have lot of documents in the dropbox.

From wordpress website, i want to be able to view the main document.
I am looking for the ability to view different files within the dropbox.

Documents will be updated in dropbox on a regular basis. User should be able to view the updated files from the wordpress website.

Is there a plugin for that? I searched but could not find one.

Please point me to where i can do this from the plugin if it is available.

    Hello @satya,

I hope you are having a good day and thanks for the asking.

Here are some nice plugins which are strongly integrated with dropbox as its documentation states. First plugin is Dropr which lets you access files from your Dropbox account and help you to add them straight to your WordPress website.

Another one is Out of the Box- Dropbox which integrates Dropbox into your WordPress website or blog. It allows you to view, download, delete, rename files & folders directly from a WordPress page.

    I hope this helps you.

Please let me know if there is anything else I can help you with.

    Cheers,
    Milan Savaliya

Thank you. I looked at the Out of the Box - Dropbox plugin. Looks like i need to purchase the plugin. Before i do that, just have a question on this. I saw the plugin will allow to view the folder structure in dropbox. Not sure if i can view the document by clicking the link in wordpress. It says i can view the embedded document. Just want to confirm before i purchase it. Thank you. I have the dropr plugin with which i can access the files from the dropbox.

    Hello @satya,

    Hope you are doing good.

To be honest with you I've never used that plugin before so I can't guarantee what that plugin has to offer you. But you can always ask your question on its forum page or on its intro page as comment. I am sure one of plugin developer will get back to as soon as possible. To do so you'll require themeforest.net account. You can create one from here if you don't have one,
Click on this link and then top-left side button saying "Create Envato Account"

    I hope this helps you.

    Cheers,
    Milan Savaliya.

Just my two cents. I use Dropbox share links and then create buttons on my site. You can actually set a link to auto load in the browser or auto download.

To force a Dropbox link to open in the browser add this to the files share url: ?raw=1
    https://www.dropbox.com/s/filecode/123.pdf
    Becomes:
    https://www.dropbox.com/s/filecode/123.pdf?raw=1

to force a download add this to the files share url: ?dl=1
    https://www.dropbox.com/s/filecode/123.pdf
    Becomes:
    https://www.dropbox.com/s/filecode/123.pdf?dl=1

then take your modified code and add it as a hyperlink or a button code or whatever looks best on your site.
