Plugin Upgrade changes original domain settings

I received a report about a change in the domain name reverting back to - I have since corrected it.

I had previously had to go in via phpmyadmin to add the 2 domains (the second one actually) -- and I don't know if you have fixed this yet so more than one domain per site can be assigned.

However, after today's upgrade this issue appeared and going to the settings panel the domain mapping upgrade seems to have switched which domain I had set as the primary. It also refuses to do what I ask when it says invalid domain, even though I know it is and can access it.... so I don't understand that bit but never really worry about it cuz it still works....

But I have more upgrades on other multisites and don't want them all to split apart and then have to go in and figure out when way....

Heard any other reports yet?

Hey @lee_down, good to see you again!

I'll admit that I haven't heard of any other reports, but I'm curious about the behavior that you've described here. I'd want to see about doing this on other Multisite (a test one, if possible), to see if this happens again.

Could you enable Support Access to the affected site, so that I could have a closer look at what's going on?

    Please advise,

Hey @michael55, good to see you, too. I've been ... what's the word... burned out works. Laying low, doing my best.

That one where I reported this occurrence has been fixed for the client so I don't want to mess around there. I do have waiting to upgrade that plugin, and some of the sites there have multiple domains

One is a paying client site so I'd like to ensure they are disrupted minimally if we do find it happens here, too. So I'd like maybe share a few words exchange at the time of and be present and available...

How can we coordinate on that? PS - you still got that space for me? Everything is still as it was with that stuck project.

    Hello @lee_down

I hope you are well today.

Glad to know that the issue is fixed for that site. Honestly, we didn't get any similar report before. So, you can upgrade the plugin and if any issues, just let us know.

Also, it is always recommended to take a backup before upgrading anything in wordpress
