Post Publishing Fails only when Domain Mapping On after Migration

Hi -

We recently did a cPanel to cPanel migration of a multi-site installation on which we have been using the domain mapping plugin. During migration and now after it is complete, all blogs resolve and behave fine when domain mapping is OFF. But when domain mapping is turned on, we are unable to publish new posts and receive a "not found" error. I tried resetting permalinks, but that was not a solution.

Any trouble-shooting suggestions will be appreciated.

    Greetings Scott,

You had mentioned you folks did a migration from one CPanel to another Cpanel.

It sounds like you either switched hosts or perhaps minimum switched servers within the same host?

If this is the case above then it is almost certain that the Ip has changed therefore not only does the IP change in Domain Mapping --> network admin dashboard --> Settings --> Domain Mapping --> Server IP Address:

In addition, if this is the case as mentioned above with a possible IP change, all the "A" records for the domains will need to be changed as well.

    Please advise.

    Cheers, Joe

    Greetings Scott,

Just checking if this issue was eventually resolved in another thread? Or by yourself separately to us? Or by us over email with you? Or using our live support?

If so, no need to reply, that's great news.

If not, or you have any more questions related to this thread, please feel free to post them below including any new symptoms or errors and tick the 'Mark as Not Resolved (re-open)' box below the post area (or else we'll miss it!)

Otherwise, happy days, glad you got it sorted

Thank you for being a WPMU Dev member!
