Prevent people for changing settings and title

Hi,

I'm using a site with Buddypress.
http://www.oreille-malade.com

I want to let members change wiki content. But when I set "site users" in Wiki Privileges, site users can do anything admin can do.
- I don't want to let site users change "Allow editing by". I just want the admin (= me) to do this.
- I'd like to prevent them to change the title of the page too, but maybe not for all wiki pages.
How can I do ?

Best Regards,
Laurent

    Hi Laurent,

This gets just a little bit on the complex side but if you have a look at the permissions/capabilities mentioned by Mohanjith here:
    https://premium.wpmudev.org/forums/topic/custom-users-to-control-wiki?view=all#post-151236

You'll see there are a number of WordPress capabilities you could utilize to restrict access to various abilities in the Wiki plugin.

He mentions the Capabilities Manager plugin, but there's also the User Role Editor plugin you could use:
    http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/user-role-editor/

Preventing users from changing just the title would require some customization of the core plugin code, not something we can really provide support for, as it'd get quite a bit extensive, depending on the specific way you'd like it to work.
