[Private Messaging] Messages not arriving at Inbox

Messages are being sent and are visible by the admins but do not ever show at the persons inbox. I have disable cacheing and purged the cache. That did not do it.

    I hope you're well today and thank you for your question!

    Is it that the e-mail messages are not being delivered only but messages can be seen by users in their inboxes on your site? Or they don't even get them on the site? If the latter, are those all messages or only those with attachments and/or only to/from specific users?

    I'm asking because I have accessed your site and created myself subscriber account for testing (I have removed it already for security) and from your admin account I have sent myself a message via Private Messaging plugin.

    I have received the message (though I only could see notification as the inbox seems to be protected by membership, which I didn't assign to my account):

    and an e-mail notification about that message as well:

    However, the mail version was marked as spam in my gmail inbox so it might be worth to ask your site's users to check their spam inboxes too.
